Property Purchased for Transitional Housing

In an effort to expand our transitional housing services, GRM has aquired a 6 unit apartment building in southeast DC. GRM plans to use this facility to expand our tranistional housing programs for the graduates of our Transforming Lives Ministry and the Fulton House of Hope. School of Tomorrow & Mt. Carmel Baptist Join Forces to Promote Education and Job Readiness

Mt. Carmel Baptist Church is now working with GRM''s School of Tomorrow, partnering to provide computer and other workforce readiness training to families and youth in the District. Certain key courses that the SOT offers will now be available to attend at Mt. Carmel, including CDL training and Microsoft Office MOS Certification, as well as computer lab hours.

Chrystal Jones, Directer of the School of Tomorrow is excited about this partnership, and is hopeful that this arrangement will promote further collaboration among other organizations in the city. "This is a great partnership between 2 faith based organizations to address one of the pressing issues facing our city today."
